Book Review: Great Lives In Graphics

Great Lives In Graphics are amazing infographic biographies of important figures from history. Each one is filled with lots of fascinating facts and loads of great illustrations. I really like non-fiction books and what I liked best about these ones is that they contain interesting information about the historical events and social ideas of the time, as well as about the figure themselves. There is also a handy glossary at the back of each one. I loved how different all the pages were, there are timelines, maps, fact boxes and more and loads of interesting information about topics like Regency ballrooms, electric currents and the Mexican Revolution. The books are really colourful with cool illustrations so I think they will appeal to readers aged about 8 to 11 years old. I learnt lots of new and interesting information. There are also other titles in the series, including Anne Frank, Stephen Hawking, Cleopatra and Martin Luther King Jnr.
