Sophie’s Adventures by Dick King-Smith is another well loved classic, perfect for readers aged 5+, a compilation of short stories about a girl who loves animals of all shapes and sizes and longs to have a farm of her own.
Red Panda Rescue by Jess Butterworth is the first in the lovely Adventure Club series for 7+ that focuses on conservation. Its determined protagonist helps different animals in some exciting locations.

What The Ladybird Heard (3+) is a fabulous rhyming picture book set on a farm by Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks, with a very funny ending, perfect for bedtime reading.
